Film Synopsis

The Swiss artist, Andy Denzler, has just secured the most important solo exhibition of his career. Inside his studio, he tries to paint a series of works that are worthy of the occasion. Against the backdrop of the global art market, this is a journey into a creative cosmos, where character and accomplishment, motive and madness, beauty and ugliness become curiously intertwined.

The Protagonist

Andy Denzler’s paintings hang alongside works by Andy Warhol, Willem De Kooning, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, and Gerhard Richter in some of the most respected private and institutional collections in the world.
